Shoot Out Rules

We will play in 3-man teams, with each team playing 3 holes. There will be 4 teams in each group. The low team total after 3 holes will advance to the finals.

Format will be a 3-man elimination scramble, with one exception: only one team member will tee off on each hole, with each of the 3 team members hitting one tee shot on each of the three holes. The team determines which team member will tee off on each hole.

On the first hole, the team decides who will tee off. The other 2 team members will scramble on the second shot. Whichever second shot the team uses, that player will sit out the third shot, and the other 2 team members will scramble. This same format will be used until holed out. The team will now choose between the 2 players who did not tee off on the first hole, to hit the tee shot on the second hole. Same format thru the duration of the hole, and finally the remaining team member who has yet to hit a tee shot will tee off on the third and final hole.

We have 28 teams of 3, so we will have 4 teams starting on 7 different holes. Each group will have a group marshal who will keep score. Low team score after 3 holes will be declared the group winner. For teams tied after 3 holes, a single team member, from spots chosen by the group marshal, will break ties with a single putt. Closest to the hole advances.

This will put 7 teams in the finals, which will take place on the 3^rd hole, a picturesque par-3 over water, with great viewing spots behind the hole.

Same format for this one-hole final. Team will decide which member hits the tee shot, and the other 2 teammates will scramble on the second shot. Any/all ties will be decided by a one-putt playoff from spots chosen by Steve Meacham.  *Note: if your team is in the one-putt playoff, whoever hit your tee shot is not eligible to hit the putt. Team decides between the other 2 guys.

Those not participating in the finals are encouraged to find a spot behind the green to witness the thrilling conclusion. The beverage cart will be there as well.

Team payoffs will be as follows:

1^st – $600, 2^nd – $450, 3^rd – $300, 4^th thru 7^th – $75
