Sub Hub Rules

There will be 2 separate competitions within each 4-man team: a 3-man Scramble and a Pink Ball contest. The team will be given 2 scorecards to record each of the 2 team scores.

The 3-man Scramble is just that and will be a one-team score. The Pink Ball will be a separate team score. On the first hole, a team member will play the pink ball, while the other 3 guys play a 3-man scramble. After completing each hole, the pink ball will be passed from player to player, while the other teammates play a 3-man scramble.

If lost, the player who loses the pink ball will then wear the dreaded pink shirt for the duration of the round. Please record the score thru all holes completed with the pink ball.

On the next tee box after the pink ball is lost, all four teammates will tee off, and the team will now begin playing a 3-man elimination scramble. (This is the only time all four teammates will tee off as going forward, whoever makes the final putt on the previous hole will not tee off on the next hole.) For the elimination scramble, whichever shot is used, that player sits out the next shot. Only 3 players should hit each shot.

For the Pink Ball competition, each team decides their pink ball rotation, and it should look like this:

Player #1:   Holes 1 – 5 – 9 – 13 – 17

Player #2:   Holes 2 – 6 – 10 – 14 – 18

Player #3:   Holes 3 – 7 – 11 – 15

Player #4:   Holes 4 – 8 – 12 – 16

Larry will be at a Par 3 on the course to hit a complimentary shot with each group and provide swing advice. Larry will not hit the pink ball. Mike will be at the bar.

Team payouts will be as follows:

3-man Scramble:

1st – $800

2nd – $400

Pink Ball:

1st – $400
