Sub Hub Rules 2024

A slight change this year as there is no Pink Ball. However, there will still be two separate scores within each 4-man team: a 3-man Scramble and a “team ball” contest.

The 3-man Scramble is just that, and will be one team score.

The team ball will be a separate team score, and played just as we played the Pink Ball, except there is no losing the team ball. The team ball will record a score on all 18 holes. As before, the team decides the playing order for the team ball. On the first hole, one member of the team will play the team ball, while the other three guys play a 3-man scramble. After completing each hole, a different team member will play the team ball, while the other teammates play a 3-man scramble.

For the “team ball” competition, each team decides their rotation, and it should look like this:

Player #1:   Holes 1 – 5 – 9 – 13 – 17

Player #2:   Holes 2 – 6 – 10 – 14 – 18

Player #3:   Holes 3 – 7 – 11 – 15

Player #4:   Holes 4 – 8 – 12 – 16

Both scores will combine to get the total team score. Each team will record each of their scores on the official team scorecard.

All play will be from the Blue Tees and double-bogey will be the max score. We will play the Oaks and Lakes Courses, with split tee times on each course. Larry will be at a Par 3 to hit a complimentary shot with each group and provide swing advice. Larry will not hit the team ball. Mike will be at the bar.

Team payouts will be as follows:

1st  $500    –    2nd.  $400    –    3rd   $300    –    4th   $200
